Es werden Tanz Workshops und parallel dazu ein Instrumentalworkshop angeboten. Als Alternative startet am Samstag, 20.05.2017 ebenfalls um 13:00 eine Klandestina City Tour. Ihr müsstet Euch also für eines der Angebote entscheiden.

The festival offers dance workshops and on Saturday at the same time we'll run a music workshop, or as an alternativ program the Klandestina City Tour. So you have to decide where do you want to participate.

Was braucht Musik um tanzbar zu sein?
In diesem kurzen Ensemblekurs liegt der Fokus auf genußvoller Tanzbarkeit der Musik. Wir werden gemeinsam den für uns richtigen Groove finden, aufeinander hören und zu einem kompakten Klang verschmelzen. Im Anschluss spielt das Ensemble bei der Mazurka Klandestina und am Abend in der Wabe. Alle Instrumente sind willkommen!

What does music need to be danceable?
This small ensemble workshop puts the focus on the 'danceability' of music. We'll work on the right groove and melt together to a compact joyful sound. After this we'll have some possibilities to play for the dancers - at the Mazurka Kandestina and at the ballroom Wabe.
All instruments are welcome!

Einführung & Auffrischung von Paar- und Gruppentänzen: Mazurka, Schottisch, Bourrée, Walzer und Tänzen - wie Fröhlicher Kreis (Circle Circassien) - mit dem Ziel, diese Tänze beim anschließenden BalFolk gleich weiter zu tanzen und zu festigen.

partners. You can continue practicing at the BalFolk evening.

'Tanzknigge' statt geknickte Tänzer*Innen. Mehr Spaß für alle in Mixertänzen!
Bestens geeignet für Anfänger*innen, aber auch Erfahrenen wärmstens empfohlen! Inhalte: Warum sind Mixer wie Chapelloise und Cercle eigentlich Paar- und nicht
Gruppentänze? Außerdem: Tanzstil an den Partner anpassen, Kontaktgestaltung im Paar, Variationen für wenig Platz auf der Tanzfläche, Wahrnehmung der anderen Tanzenden, Körperhaltung und
Handfassung, Handlungsmöglichkeiten in unangenehmen Tanzsituationen.

Dance Etiquette - rules for more fun in dances with change of partners (a so-called
Mixer). For beginners but also highly recommended for experienced dancers!
Why is a mixer a couple dance and not a group dance? How to adapt your dance style to the partner? And: variations for little space on the dancefloor; consideration
of other dancers etc.

Relaxen & Genießen wollen wir beim Tanzen. Doch häufig stolpern wir dabei über unseren eigenen Kopf. Wo sammelt sich die im Kopf entstehende Anspannung in meinem Körper? Welche Wege gibt es um diese zu lösen?
In „Relax and Enjoy“ wird es um unsere Möglichkeiten als Tanzende gehen, sich während eines Tanzes zu entspannen und Spaß zu haben. Somit eröffnen wir Raum für neue Erfahrungen mit bekannten Tänzen und Tanzenden.

Relax & Enjoy . While dancing, we sometimes stumble... and sometimes we stumble because of our head.
We have a lot of thoughts and some of them go from our mind to our body and gather there as tensions. In this workshop we want to figure out some ways to solve this tension, so we can just enjoy the dance ... and at the same time we open a space for new experiences with known dances and the other dancers.
